st. patrick's cathedral
One of the great things about an old town or city are the churches and temples. New York is no exception in this regard. Throughout the city there are several classic old churches which stand out for the their grandeur. Completed in 1878, and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1979, this catholic cathedral stands out in the city because of it sheer size, location (in midtown) and naturally its age. The inside of St. Patrick’s always astonishes me and is worth it to spend time to walk around inside.
