Today marks the anniversary of the United States entry into World War II in 1941. The attach, designed to halt US influence over the empire of Japan, was initiated by approximately 353 japanese aircraft and resulted in the US pacific fleet being decimated.

In honor of this day, and the 2402 killed on that day, a few basic pictures that I recently took during a visit to the Pearl Harbor memorial on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

Each of these sites can be, and should be, visited when traveling to Hawaii.  The USS Missouri is currently not open to walk through as it is currently undergoing restoration.
