polihali looking north

The northern side of polihali ends where it meets the Na Pali coast. This makes this point of the island essentially the western most end of the island of Kauai, and also one of its most remote areas. To get to PoliHali, after taking the Kaumuali hwy (st. route 50) to the end, and navigating to where the sign for the park is, you drive several miles on a dirt road, past the Pacific Missile Range Facility.

The park is mostly made up of camp ground, picnic areas and probably the most expansive beach to be found on the entire island.
